Humana is seeking an accomplished healthcare leader to drive strategic provider relationships and contracting in the Northeast Region. As Regional Vice President, Provider Experience and Contracting, you will foster the development of provider networks that advance Humana's strategy and goals towards improving community health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic provider relationships for all product lines in the Northeast Region.
  • Lead the transition of targeted membership and providers to engagement agreements.
  • Identify and work with potential joint ventures and other partners.
  • Drive efforts for continuous improvement in unit cost strategy.
  • Provide executive leadership to Provider Contracting, Provider Education, and Provider Engagement teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience leading contract negotiation and provider engagement activities for Medicare products.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health plan finance and reimbursement.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to navigate a matrixed organizational environment.
