Position Overview
We are in search of outstanding enterprise Account Directors to enhance our mission of transforming the global software experience.

As a recognized leader in Product Analytics and Digital Adoption platforms, our offerings cater to both startups and established enterprises worldwide. Our expanding base of over 3,000 customers underscores our momentum as a late-stage startup.

Key Responsibilities
As an enterprise Account Director, your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth by securing new clients and nurturing existing accounts within your designated territory.

  • Execute a sophisticated, value-driven sales strategy that engages multiple stakeholders within your accounts.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by analyzing and proactively addressing high-value needs across various functions and business lines.
  • Construct and manage comprehensive territory and account plans aimed at fostering growth.
  • Establish yourself as an industry expert and trusted advisor for both new and existing clients.
  • Clearly communicate Pendo's unique business value, solutions, and functionalities.
  • Enhance executive awareness, build a robust sales pipeline, and drive bookings growth within accounts.
  • Formulate account strategies that accelerate sales velocity by collaborating with Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Emerging Account Directors.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities while monitoring and utilizing critical metrics that predict sales success.
  • Document all relevant sales activities using the company's Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and travel as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
You are the catalyst that energizes our sales engine, with a deep-rooted passion for pipeline generation.

  • Proven success in selling Enterprise software and platform-as-a-service solutions to VP and C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with senior executives across Global 2000 organizations, spanning both business and IT sectors.
  • Expertise in developing multi-year account strategies to enhance value and expand the footprint within designated accounts.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), along with strong interpersonal abilities and impactful presentation skills.
  • Adept at distinguishing between productive activities and tangible outcomes, showcasing a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of working independently while promoting effective collaboration within the Pendo team.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Clari, Looker, Gong, and Docusign.
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC and Force Management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Trained in MEDDPPIC and/or Force Management methodologies.

Compensation
Our salary ranges are designed to be competitive within our industry and are one component of the comprehensive compensation, benefits, and rewards we offer. The expected OTE range for this role in the United States is $240K - $300K USD. Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and above the expected salary range, are based on various factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal equity relative to peers at the company.
