The Floating Chef Manager role involves supporting multiple dining establishments in the northeastern region, ensuring culinary excellence, adherence to high food safety protocols, and effective team leadership. Key duties include overseeing food service operations, providing direction, and ensuring consistency in quality and service.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee food service operations, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving
- Ensure accountability for profit and loss while possessing experience in contract-managed services
- Design menus, manage costs, and source local food products
- Demonstrate a commitment to sustainability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HACCP standards
- A minimum of 3 years of culinary management experience in contract food service, fine dining, or restaurant environments
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
