We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR department, including payroll administration, benefits management, and recruitment coordination.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an HR Generalist. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of our HR department, including payroll, benefits, and recruitment;
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Providing training and development opportunities to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge;
  • Collaborating with department heads to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • At least three years of experience in HR, payroll, or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
What We Offer

The City of Port Washington offers a competitive salary range of $25.32 - $29.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for professional development and growth within our organization.
