We are currently in search of a Process Improvement Engineer whose main objective will be to enhance, innovate, and uphold both automated and manual assembly manufacturing best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to refine industrial processes aimed at cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, sustainability improvement, and profit maximization in collaboration with our project teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance assembly workflows by analyzing and planning operational processes, machinery functionality, and equipment arrangement.
  • Assess manufacturing methodologies through hands-on evaluations and design assessments.
  • Gather insights from operators and setup technicians to inform process improvements.
  • Develop manufacturing protocols by examining product specifications, researching, designing, modifying, and testing production methods and equipment.
  • Facilitate informed manufacturing decisions by calculating production, labor, and material expenditures.
  • Engage with equipment suppliers to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Maintain equipment efficiency by coordinating maintenance and repair activities, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and established protocols.
  • Evaluate compliance with relevant safety and quality regulations.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives by completing related tasks as necessary.
  • Create and manage process documentation and operational guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Process or Machinery Engineer.
  • Proficient understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, metal stamping, and automated assembly.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (Solidworks, Pro-E, Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Prior experience in industrial automation.
  • Understanding of electrical cables, connectors, and electrical testing.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Previous experience in quality or business process engineering.
