Position: Receptionist - After-School Program

Cathedral Academy is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to support our Lower School Aftercare Program. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for parents, students, and staff, managing phone inquiries, verifying pick-up identities, and assisting with various operational tasks as required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.

Compensation:

$17 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

As part of our before and after-school care team, your duties will include:

  • Fostering a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can engage in play and learning.
  • Collaborating with parents to ensure the highest quality of care for their children.
  • Working alongside staff and leadership to meet objectives for before and after-school programs.
  • Building positive relationships with families and colleagues.
  • Creating lasting friendships among children and staff.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Willingness to undergo training in CPR and ALICE protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Genuine passion for child care and development.
  • Eagerness to engage in a fun and impactful role.

This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday during the hours of 2 PM to 6 PM.
