Position Summary:

We are looking for two Junior Product Managers to contribute to our product roadmap. The Junior Product Manager will collaborate closely with our product and technology teams, overseeing the product backlog and developing epics, user stories, and tickets.

Both roles will report to a Senior Product Manager. While our headquarters is located in New York City, this position offers flexibility to be based anywhere within the United States. The compensation range for this role is between $75,000 and $110,000, depending on geographic location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and refine the product backlog
  • Lead weekly grooming sessions and prepare status reports for senior management
  • Assist in generating monthly performance reports to pinpoint areas for enhancement
  • Support the Senior Product Manager in product development initiatives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities and challenges
  • Engage in the Product Collateral Management process, ensuring all materials receive necessary reviews and approvals
  • Develop and improve internal processes and documentation for repeatable tasks
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product requirements
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for product releases
  • Prepare vendor assessments and perform due diligence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in product management or analysis within Financial Services, Fintech, digital banking, or Payments
  • Minimum of 2 years as an Agile Product Owner, with proficiency in Agile development management tools
  • Experience supporting Quality Assurance initiatives
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities
