About The Role:
The Junior Property Management Specialist will assist the Property Manager or senior personnel in overseeing all facets of a specific property or a collection of commercial, industrial, or retail spaces, encompassing marketing, operational functions, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address tenant inquiries, ensuring that administrative and technical teams resolve issues swiftly. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual commitments.
- Participate in regular property evaluations, suggesting modifications, maintenance, and refurbishments as needed.
- Review and endorse vendor invoices for accurate payment on behalf of property ownership.
- Manage the assignment of Purchase Orders in accordance with company policies and approval protocols. Aid in the preparation of precise tenant billing.
- Support the coordination of tenant relocations and inspections, collaborating with tenants and the improvement department.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of timely, accurate, and comprehensive reports.
- May help compile research data on budgetary items or input budget figures provided by management into financial reports.
- May collect and verify preliminary data for accounts receivable aging reports.
- Provide informal support such as operational guidance and training to colleagues.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must successfully fulfill each essential duty. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution is preferred, along with one to two years of relevant experience and/or training.
- An active Real Estate License is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information.
- Understanding of financial terminology and principles, with the capability to conduct basic financial analyses.
- Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
