About the Role

Cobec Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator, Junior to join our team. As a Cost Estimator, Junior, you will play a critical role in supporting the evaluation and quality assurance of cost estimates for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cost analyst duties, including reviewing, assessing, and providing comment on cost estimates for program baselines, budget, and life cycle cost estimates.
  • Develop analytical solutions, including the evaluation/review of program life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), development of LCCEs, and the development of economic analysis such as Net Present Value (NPV), Return on Investment (ROI), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
  • Contribute to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Operations Research, or Finance.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and other MS Office Products.
  • Strong analytical background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in use of cost estimating and risk tools such as Crystal Ball, ACEIT, SEER-SEM, and/or @RISK.
  • Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCE/A) or Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) designation from the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICCEA).
Security Requirements

Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
