Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at NHC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.
Responsibilities- Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality products.
- Review menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals.
- Prepare and serve diets properly, accurately, and attractively as planned using proper portions and special diet items.
- Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders, preparing sufficient quantities to meet all service requirements.
- Test and taste foods of all consistencies for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature and adjust if needed.
- Healthcare food service experience preferred, but not required.
- Banquet/Catering experience is preferred, but not required.
- Supervisor experience is preferred, but not required.
