About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. As a key member of our Safety Management Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, employees, and property.

Responsibilities
  • Patrol and secure over 2.2 million square feet of hospital property on two separate campuses.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide support to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Conduct regular security checks and maintain a high level of visibility throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements
  • Montana PSP Security Guard License within 60 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification upon hire.
  • International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) Basic Security Officer Certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior typing/keyboard experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree.
  • 2 years of experience in military, law enforcement, or private security.
