Salary Range: $25 – $28 per hour

Job Overview: Blue Star Partners LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant I to support the HR department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for HR teams, performing data entry and coordinating calendars and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records, facilitate employee onboarding, and support various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Executive Assistant to coordinate team member events.
  • Administer and track small projects within the HR department, including data analytics and policy development.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations for ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and assist with the orientation process.
  • Conduct research for HR-related tasks and initiatives.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee inquiries and directing them to the appropriate HR team member.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a HR department, knowledge of HR practices.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality.
