- Support Advisors and Key Accounts: Utilize insurance industry experience to provide recommendations to advisors in point-of-sale support.
- Recruit and Manage Advisors and Key Accounts: Recruit and manage advisors and key accounts, establishing and maintaining key business relationships.
- Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Recruit, train, and develop the sales team, creating sales ideas and concepts to implement with the sales team.
- Measure and Improve Performance: Lead team by guiding and motivating them to drive maximum performance, measuring performance against sales expectations, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop Sales Materials and Strategies: Work with marketing specialist to develop sales materials and establish sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of current products and concepts.
- Oversee Sales Operations: Oversee the collective coordination of sales meetings and resources, account management, sales prospecting, and business development.
- Track and Report Sales Metrics: Establish, track, and report sales metrics, managing sales activities by utilizing the CRM system.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience: 5+ years' managerial experience and 5+ years' experience with financial services, insurance, and/or related fields.
- Skills: Excellent working knowledge of PC-based systems and applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, strong problem-solving, management, leadership, communication, and coaching skills, and ability to foster teamwork and build a collaborative culture.
