Position Overview:

Are you looking for a role where your project management and analytical abilities can be utilized to steer a program from inception to fruition? In this role, you will deliver program and project management proficiency in support of a U.S. Navy (USN) client, focusing on acquisition and sustainment management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT) program. Collaborating with program leadership, you will oversee cost, schedule, and performance metrics to enhance Navy Information Technology (IT) systems. Your toolkit will include Microsoft Excel for budget analysis and tracking, Microsoft Project for schedule management, Microsoft Word for crafting contractual and technical documents, and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation development. Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in DoD Program Management or Acquisition Management
  • Experience with program or project management in a DoD or Navy Program Management Office, overseeing the complete project life cycle with multiple interrelated projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Capability to manage various projects, encompassing planning, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, delegation, and employee development
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with metrics, business process reengineering, business case analysis, electronic workflow, cost estimation, and strategic planning
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Strong computer skills
  • Possession of a Secret clearance
  • PMP Certification
  • SAFe Agile Scrum Master Certification

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
