Business Development Manager

The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a leading local cargo logistics company to fill a Business Development Manager position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a passion for growing revenue through new customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve sales targets and drive growth by identifying and expanding the customer base and industry sectors.
- Promote service offerings, conduct sales calls and visits, and develop pricing models based on customer needs.
- Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries, RFQs, tenders, and RFIs while communicating customer expectations internally.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare and submit sales reports and analyses.
- Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- Diploma/Degree in any relevant discipline.
- Minimally 2 years of sales experience in the supply chain/logistics industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and negotiate with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Location: West region
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
Salary: up to $7500 + AWS + Commission + Transportation Allowance
