Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician II to join our team at UW Medicine Primary Care. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine and stat laboratory tests, utilizing automated or semi-automated equipment, kit assays, and microscopic evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests accurately and precisely, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and testing methods.
  • Organize workload to meet service demands, working calmly and efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Participate in training and demonstrating routine laboratory techniques to new employees.
  • May send out letters to patients with lab results or overdue reminder letters for appointments.
Requirements
  • Active Washington State MA-Phlebotomist Certification required.
  • High School / GED.
  • Minimum one-year relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting.
