Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator and Trainer is a full-time role (35 hours/week) dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency of the Human Resources Department.

Mass Bay Credit Union, a well-established financial institution with a strong community presence, is seeking a motivated individual to join our HR team. This position is based at our headquarters and involves a flexible work schedule.

Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring accuracy.
  • Organizing and facilitating training sessions for staff on various topics, including product knowledge and compliance.
  • Participating in the recruitment process and conducting orientation for new employees.

Essential qualities for this role include professionalism, discretion, and a positive demeanor. Candidates should possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications. A minimum of two years of training experience within a financial institution is preferred, along with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
