About the Position

The New England College of Optometry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Human Resources and Title IX Coordinator to join our team. This is a key leadership role that will serve as a strategic partner to our Senior Vice President and other administrative leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resource strategies that align with the College's mission and goals
  • Provide expert guidance on employment laws and regulations, including Title IX and the Campus Sexual Violence Prevention Act
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for faculty and staff
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Serve as the College's Title IX Coordinator, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Relevant advanced degree and/or certification in Human Resources (SPHR or PHR) preferred
  • Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible human resource experience, with at least five years at the senior management level
