Site Facilities Coordinator Job Description

Altec Industries is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Facilities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our auction subsidiary, JJ Kane Auctions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory of equipment coming into and leaving the site.
  • Evaluate inventory and determine estimated selling value.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales associates during equipment removal after the auction.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to optimize auction procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, working closely with our Safety and Environmental manager.
  • Manage inventory status and equipment audits with offsite holding yards.
  • Ensure all required training and inspections are up-to-date.
  • Manage costs and expenses for locations.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time until a new location opens.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1 year of prior auction or heavy machine/equipment/automotive knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of utility, construction, and aerial device equipment a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb utility equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
