Job Title: Director of Refugee Mental Health Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Refugee Mental Health Program. As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based behavioral health programs tailored to the cultural and linguistic backgrounds of refugee and immigrant populations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, experience working with diverse populations, and a passion for promoting health equity. You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative programs, providing training and supervision to staff, and collaborating with community organizations to establish a network of support services for refugees and immigrants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Create and implement evidence-based behavioral health programs tailored to the cultural and linguistic backgrounds of refugee and immigrant populations.
  • Training and Supervision: Provide training and supervision to front-line community health workers, case managers, and outreach workers to equip them with the necessary skills to support the mental health and well-being of refugees and immigrants.
  • Community Collaboration: Collaborate with local community organizations, government agencies, and non-profits to establish a network of support services for refugees and immigrants.
  • Clinical Oversight: Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive behavioral health services.

Qualifications:

  • State licensure or certification as an independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience in management and program development.
  • Experience working across multiple languages and cultures, particularly with refugees or immigrant populations with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
