About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker II to join our team at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital. As a key member of our staff, you will provide direct care services to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, substance abuse, and/or homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to patients, promoting their dignity and respect.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, community integration, and recreation/leisure activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance abuse, and/or homelessness.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual or multilingual fluency.
  • American Sign Language (ASL) skills.
  • Experience working with adolescents.
