Position Overview:

As a Food Service Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of culinary professionals and ensure the highest standards of service in dining operations. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to integrate dining services seamlessly into our operational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily dining operations in a high-volume setting.
  • Engage with guests to address inquiries and resolve any issues with a customer-centric approach.
  • Assist in financial oversight, including budgeting and profit and loss management.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus that prioritize quality and presentation.
  • Oversee all aspects of food service, including quality assurance, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Support the implementation of new culinary initiatives in partnership with marketing and culinary teams.
  • Prepare reports for client presentations and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with marketing to enhance sales through innovative food offerings.
  • Ensure alignment between culinary programs and the company’s vision.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in food service management.
  • Experience in diverse food service environments such as restaurants, corporate dining, or healthcare.
  • Preferred background in catering and event management.
  • Knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, and cost control.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ServSafe Certification is a plus.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
