Position Overview
As a Contracts & Grants Support Analyst at the University of California, Riverside, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pre-award research administration functions within the Dean's Office. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic academic environment, assisting senior analysts and faculty with the preparation and submission of research proposals. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of proposals, providing administrative support for data entry, document collection, and deadline tracking.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist senior analysts and principal investigators in the preparation of research proposals by collecting, formatting, and organizing documents required for submission to sponsors like NSF and NIH.
• Enter data into submission portals and ensure accurate and timely submission of all required proposal elements under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Support the research team by assisting in verifying compliance with federal, state, university, and sponsor-specific guidelines.
• Draft clear, concise written communications to PIs and other stakeholders under supervision, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Provide high-quality customer service by addressing questions from faculty and staff or routing inquiries to appropriate resources.
