Our Controllership division is growing Reporting to the Director and Assistant Controller, we are in search of a Corporate Accounting Supervisor to become a vital part of our team.


Location:
FabFitFun operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger accounting function, ensuring efficient and standardized processes.
- Manage and supervise the monthly closing cycle, focusing on achieving key performance indicators such as closure time and minimizing post-close adjustments.
- Streamline closing procedures to enhance training and establish redundancy within the team.
- Directly supervise areas including revenue, accounts receivable, cash management, inventory, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, fixed assets, and financing activities.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly reconciliation tasks.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and senior finance leadership to support the organization’s strategic goals.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing accounting team, overseeing two Senior Accountants.
- Coordinate with various teams on system integration and improvement projects.
- Assist in the annual financial statement audit and other audit processes, including planning, preparation, and implementing ongoing improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards.
- Monitor and provide monthly analysis of budget versus actual performance.
- Track business KPIs, including performance against financial covenants and contribution metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience in a sizable private or public organization.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and inventory/cost accounting practices.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Management experience with a focus on providing timely feedback.
- Expertise in US GAAP and the ability to interpret technical accounting standards.

Preferred Experience:
- Background in public accounting (Big 4) is advantageous.
- Experience in startup, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.
- Knowledge of apparel manufacturing or retail accounting.
- Familiarity with business intelligence systems like Tableau.
- Experience in international and multi-entity accounting, including consolidation and foreign exchange.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $120-140K, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The compensation package also includes an initial equity grant and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Compensation decisions are based on various job-related factors, including skills, location, market demand, experience, and education/certifications.
