Job Summary:

The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cardiovascular department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This includes managing the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Echo Lab, and Cardiac Pre/Post Procedure Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cardiovascular staff, including nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Recruit, train, and develop cardiovascular staff to ensure optimal performance and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in a cardiovascular setting required.
  • 1+ years' experience in management required.
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Technologist with one of the following credentials: RN, RCIS, RT(R) required.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
