Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all cardiovascular services, including inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards specific to cardiovascular care.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while achieving financial goals.
- Lead initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes in cardiovascular care, integrating the latest evidence-based practices.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance on complex cardiovascular cases and promoting best practices.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in cardiovascular services, with at least 1 year in a management or leadership role.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
