Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and oversight for all cardiovascular operations, encompassing inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory mandates, and accreditation standards pertinent to cardiovascular care.
  • Formulate and assess departmental budgets, guaranteeing optimal resource utilization while meeting financial objectives.
  • Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical practices and patient outcomes in cardiovascular care, incorporating the latest evidence-based methodologies.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related discipline is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in cardiovascular services, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is essential.
