The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cardiovascular department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This includes managing the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Echo Lab, and Cardiac Pre/Post Procedure Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of cardiovascular staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Management preferred.
- 2+ years' experience in cardiovascular setting required.
- 1+ years' experience in management required.
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Technologist with one of the following credentials: RN, RCIS, RT(R) required.
- BLS Certification required.
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
