Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare setting, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization.

  • Develop and oversee patient care plans. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison among various disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute and follow through on physician and nursing directives.
  • Evaluate and coordinate patient care requirements with the healthcare team members.
Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer is required. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer. Alternatively, a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) must be secured before hire or job transfer.

Education:

  • A diploma from an accredited nursing school or college, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of one year of RN experience is preferred.
