Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our team. This role involves validating both desktop and web applications. The Specialist will analyze requirements, develop test cases, execute manual tests, communicate findings with the development team, and document any defects clearly. The primary goal is to ensure the accuracy of code and the functionality of software in alignment with business needs, thereby promoting a culture of quality and achieving high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine software requirements thoroughly.
  • Create, document, and maintain test cases and relevant testing artifacts.
  • Conduct peer reviews of planning documents.
  • Perform tests on software to evaluate functionality and user experience.
  • Utilize SQL queries to validate and traverse database entries.
  • Identify, track, and re-test defects to confirm proper resolution.
  • Engage in exploratory, ad-hoc, regression, load, and system testing.
  • Review user documentation, providing insights on gaps, design flaws, and language issues.
  • Investigate and assist with customer-reported issues.
  • Assess software performance metrics.
  • Participate in design review sessions.
  • Support the automation team by providing test scenarios and data.
  • Communicate effectively with Engineering regarding reported issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on requirements.
  • Offer suggestions for process enhancements to improve quality.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Clinical Architecture's products.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing applications for usability, functionality, and performance.
  • CTFL or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL statements and navigating databases is advantageous.
