Job Overview

BMW of Bridgeport is seeking a dedicated full-time Internet Sales Coordinator. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a polished appearance, and outstanding phone communication skills.

Experience in a BMW dealership along with familiarity with BMW products is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and effective time management. This role is vital in upholding the dealership's reputation while demonstrating a strong commitment to addressing client needs. As a BDC Internet Sales Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to generate sales opportunities and appointments for the sales team, assisting clients in their purchasing journey. These opportunities will arise through various client interactions, including phone calls, emails, and text messages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist clients in a customer-focused manner
  • Introduce clients to a Client Advisor, providing relevant information regarding their visit
  • Document and maintain records of client interactions using the center's CRM system
  • Support the Sales Department in generating new business and leads through targeted marketing efforts, including internet lead management and telemarketing
  • Exhibit enthusiasm for all BMW products and maintain knowledge of their features and benefits
  • Manage client portfolios to ensure a thorough understanding of the lease-end process and drive client appointments
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to create sales opportunities
  • Follow up with unsold showroom traffic and other phone inquiries
  • Assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner throughout their interactions
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Perform basic administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
  • Provide support to service staff and management as required

Qualifications for Ideal Candidates:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a BMW dealership
  • Familiarity with automotive industry CRM tools and software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Experience in administrative support and/or telephone communication
  • Background in sales or customer support
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Successful completion of a 7-year criminal background check and drug screening
