Strategic Business Development Director for Government Contracting

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Business Development Director to join our team at Revelations Counseling & Consulting LLC in Fredericksburg, VA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion through strategic partnerships, capture management, and proposal development.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify and pursue high-potential contract opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement effective capture plans, win strategies, and bid decisions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, capture management, and proposal operations in the government contracting sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and pursuing high-potential contract opportunities, as well as developing and executing effective capture plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Military service or experience working on contracts supporting the military community is highly valued.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
