Role Overview:

Guidehouse is seeking skilled Litigation Support Paralegals to navigate the intricacies of legal processes and contribute to our expanding litigation and investigation support division.

Join our dedicated team supporting the Department of Justice and assist our clients in managing the complexities related to data management and the increasing technical and legal hurdles of eDiscovery.

The Litigation Support Paralegal team employs a collaborative methodology to conduct legal document evaluations, adhering to established protocols and practices, utilizing advanced electronic document review systems and tools. Team members will also be responsible for peer assessments to ensure precision and provide constructive feedback to maintain quality and thoroughness.

Key Responsibilities:

The Litigation Support Paralegal will:

  • Coordinate directly with lead eDiscovery Counsel on ongoing and upcoming eDiscovery projects, reviewing workflows and policies across the organization.
  • Conduct legal privilege assessments and responsiveness evaluations using Adobe Pro or other eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, EverLaw, and eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell).
  • Collaborate with attorneys and IT teams to ensure data is accessible as new technologies are integrated into the organization.
  • Deliver professional, accurate, timely, and reliable support across various divisions, including the Office of the General Counsel and other governmental entities.
  • Perform research to identify and compile materials responsive to requests, including outreach and informal interviews to address document requests and interrogatories.
  • Provide regular updates and statuses to Assistant General Counsels and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze documents and media files, applying redactions to various types of privileged information proficiently.
  • Facilitate classification reviews with subject matter experts.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Paralegal experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Discovery/eDiscovery.
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • A Paralegal Studies Certificate.
  • A Paralegal Associate of Arts Degree.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in conducting privilege and substantive reviews on litigation support projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery review platforms (e.g., Relativity, EverLaw, eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell)).
  • Experience in legal research (e.g., Westlaw, Pacer) and drafting responses to interrogatories.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records of assigned requests.
Compensation:

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00 - $107,600.00. Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, including skill sets, experience, security clearances, and organizational needs.
