Position Overview:
As a vital member of our civil litigation team, you will engage in essential case management, discovery processes, and document handling initiatives. FSA Federal is dedicated to providing exceptional services that support law enforcement and national security efforts. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Paralegal IV.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Oversee the intake of new cases and manage requests for ongoing cases. Create and maintain comprehensive case files and tracking systems.
  • Documentation Organization: Efficiently index and organize both electronic and physical documentation related to cases.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor case developments, including updates from Courtlink notifications, and maintain accurate case files and tracking records.
  • Security Compliance: Implement and adhere to security protocols, ensuring that permissions for case information are documented and executed appropriately.
  • Communication: Draft correspondence related to case developments and coordinate with various divisions and field offices.
  • Technical Coordination: Facilitate technical and data processing support as needed.
  • Case Closure: Ensure cases are concluded in accordance with established standard operating procedures and that all related documents are properly filed.
  • Mailbox Monitoring: Oversee the Discovery and Criminal Discovery mailboxes for incoming work requests.
  • Management Reporting: Generate detailed management reports utilizing data from case tracking systems, including proficiency in Excel and pivot tables.

Telework Policy:
This position requires onsite work and is not currently eligible for telework.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of automated litigation support experience, with a preference for Veritas experience.
  • Trial experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in legal research and analysis, particularly using eDiscovery tools.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including legal writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Citizenship Requirement:
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a minimum background investigation of 7 to 10 years.
