Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Analyze business and IT processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps, and lead efforts to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Create and implement Organizational Change strategies to support adopting changes and realizing project benefits.
- Lead the various stages of a project's life cycle, combining appropriate project management methodologies as needed.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, risk assessment, and resource allocation and deliverables.
- Lead and monitor project execution and assess project effectiveness.
- Collaborate with departmental leadership to understand business needs and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- A high degree of professionalism.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
- Experience in a Project Management (or equivalent) role for 5-8 years.
- Commitment to effectively working with a diverse community.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a technology field.
- Strong background in project management with experience in both Agile and traditional methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience handling implementations and upgrades in a complex IT environment.
- Certification in PMP, CAPM, CSM, and/or ITIL4.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing capital IT projects.
- Certification in one or more Project Management methodologies.
- Demonstrated planning and Project Management skills within a higher education environment.
