Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Premier Client Advisor to join our team at USI Insurance Services. As a Premier Client Advisor, you will be responsible for servicing and managing client accounts, with a focus on retaining assigned Tier 1 Premier clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts through proactive client engagement, including contacting clients who have moved business to determine why business was lost.
  • Provide technical expertise and service to new and existing clients, including account development and problem-solving.
  • Complete the USI New Business Process for new clients, including establishing a communication plan, reviewing policies for accuracy, and delivering welcome packets.
  • Manage pre-renewal activities for Premier clients, including delivering annual summaries and scheduling client meetings to complete annual risk assessments.
  • Execute policy renewals as appropriate, issue proof of insurance as needed, and maintain renewal expirations to avoid lapses in coverage.
  • Respond to underwriters' questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.
Requirements
  • Up to 5 years of experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, with a comprehensive understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
  • High School Graduate; College degree preferred but not required.
  • Must hold a state Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Hold an industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPRIA, CPCU, or be expected to further industry knowledge through courses with intent to pursue an industry designation.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
