Job Overview

Position Summary:

At Bresco Broadband, Client Support Specialists are essential in fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves engaging directly with clients to address inquiries and resolve issues, offering clear and thorough assistance regarding Bresco's services and products. Specialists will troubleshoot basic technical challenges, guide clients through service features, and follow up to ensure resolution of issues. Reporting to the NOC Manager, specialists are the frontline of Bresco's dedication to outstanding service, necessitating strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to general support inquiries and calls.
  • Communicating effectively in both Spanish and English.
  • Assisting clients with fundamental troubleshooting procedures.
  • Providing detailed information about Bresco Broadband's services and products.
  • Coordinating service calls and installations.
  • Following up on client inquiries to confirm resolution.
  • Updating client records with call details and resolutions.
  • Escalating complex issues to Tier 1 support as necessary.
  • Learning and comprehending basic networking concepts to assist clients effectively.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Continuously monitoring the network using Bresco-provided systems, reporting any anomalies or outages.
  • Resolving tickets assigned to Client Support, documenting solutions and maintaining communication with affected parties.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Preferably 1+ years in customer support or a related field.
  • Strong customer service abilities: friendly, approachable, motivated, with a solid work ethic and high integrity.
  • High energy, resourcefulness, and strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency required; knowledge of basic electronics and/or audio/video is advantageous.
  • Fundamental IT and networking knowledge (IP addresses, DNS).
  • Able to troubleshoot simple technical issues.
  • Proficient in using computers and office software.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts, including weekends or evenings.
  • Reliable transportation to the office location.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational education is a plus.
  • Capable of training and mentoring others within the team.
