Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Repairperson to join our team at Government Jobs. As an Electrical Equipment Repairperson, you will be responsible for verifying life safety functions in the event of a fire alarm panel alarm condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record documentation submitted at the acceptance test
  • Record the names of all persons present at the acceptance test
  • Record all signals received at the fire alarm panel and their descriptions
  • Verify life safety functions, including:
    • Proper sequence of evacuation
    • Deactivation of stairwell door locks
    • Release of magnetic door holders
    • Stair pressurization
    • Master box trip or communicator activation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
