We are currently seeking a talented Audit Team Leader to become a part of our dynamic team.

YOUR TEAM.

This role will be integral to our CHAMP and/or Not for Profit Group. The CHAMP Group delivers services to clients in the consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors. You will collaborate with a team of Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners who are passionate about their work and dedicated to consistently providing value to our clients.

YOUR ROLE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements
  • Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
  • Exhibit professional creativity in addressing client matters and propose constructive improvements to enhance client operations
  • Thoroughly analyze client transactions, identifying and resolving potential or existing issues with appropriate research and consulting
  • Take responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments efficiently
  • Guide, mentor, and develop junior staff members

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm
  • Experience in Commercial Services or Not for Profit sectors
  • Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB regulations
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CPA certification
  • Exceptional client service and communication abilities
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills
