Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly experienced Bridge Project Manager to lead our transportation group in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NJDOT/NJTA project design and management, as well as excellent leadership and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage experience and leadership to grow the group's presence in NJDOT/NJTA and other agency work.
  • Lead the bridge team for DOT and agency-type projects.
  • Develop and manage proposals for DOT and agency clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subconsultants and teaming partners.
  • Manage multi-discipline bridge and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to staff and colleagues.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with company strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in the industry, with a focus on bridge engineering.
  • Proven experience in business development, proposal preparation, and project delivery for DOT and agency clients.
  • Meet the qualifications of NJDOT 'Team Leader', including experience with AASHTO/NJDOT Design Manuals and NJDOT Capital Project Delivery Process.
  • Professional licensure in the State of NJ.
  • Prior NJDOT/NJTA experience required.
