Position Overview:
We are seeking an Employee Relations Coordinator to become a vital part of our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. This role is essential in offering support and advice to address manager, employee, and labor matters in both unionized and non-unionized settings. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support managers in resolving challenges by utilizing HR expertise and applicable policies
- Guide managers on policy interpretation and performance management strategies
- Carry out investigations and provide actionable recommendations for resolution
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to tackle intricate issues
- Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Federal and State Employment Law
- PHR certification is preferred
