Client Overview:

Our client is a prominent law firm based in Boston. They are looking to enhance their team by bringing on a Legal Records Clerk.

Compensation:

$19/hr – $22/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is in search of a meticulous and organized Legal Records Clerk to become a vital member of their esteemed team at a leading law firm in Boston. The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of Microsoft Office Suite and filing systems, along with outstanding research, organizational, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Records Clerk:
  • **Maintain Legal Documentation:** Ensure accurate and efficient filing, retrieval, and updating of client and case files in accordance with firm policies and legal standards.
  • **Manage Legal Records:** Develop and uphold a thorough system for the storage and retrieval of legal records, both physical and electronic, while ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • **Process Legal Documents:** Assess and manage incoming legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • **Prepare and organize documents for storage.**
  • **Transport files as required.**
Qualifications for the Legal Records Clerk:
  • 1 – 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge of office equipment.
  • Previous legal experience is advantageous.
Educational Requirements:
  • Associate's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
