Key Responsibilities:
LanceSoft is in search of a Contractor for US Meetings Management to deliver comprehensive meeting planning assistance to the Meetings Management team.

In this pivotal position, the selected candidate will oversee budgeting, planning, and execution, along with the reconciliation of expenses for meetings and events, particularly focusing on congresses and advisory boards, as well as other healthcare professional-related programs.

The candidate will ensure adherence to corporate and departmental financial regulations while developing and managing intricate budgets.

Depending on the nature and scope of the meeting, they may serve in a supportive capacity or as a full-service planner, utilizing third-party vendors to fulfill business requirements under the supervision of the department manager and meeting lead.

This management role encompasses, but is not limited to, sourcing hotels and venues, negotiations, budgeting, compliance adherence, transfer of value reporting, speaker management and contracting, food & beverage coordination, technology tools (Mobile App, Cvent), audio-visual arrangements, and on-site execution.

Additional tasks may be assigned beyond specific meeting and event planning to support the ongoing initiatives of the team.

These tasks could include, but are not limited to, assisting in the development of various SOPs, financial processes, Cvent oversight, and other administrative elements as required.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work; however, travel for meetings, site visits, planning sessions, and office visits is expected.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to collaborate effectively with members of the Meetings Management team, as well as Commercial and Medical groups, to deliver a high standard of meeting planning excellence to business stakeholders and USMM team members.

In addition to solid and proven technical skills, the role demands strong interpersonal abilities at all organizational levels, necessitating significant collaboration throughout the company.

The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the business and corporate culture, and be able to adapt to evolving priorities.
They will be expected to contribute to broader departmental programs and organizational goals.

A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, adaptability, creativity, and teamwork is essential to develop, plan, and execute successful meetings and events.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of robust project management experience3+ years of experience coordinating events, meetings, and/or conferences within a corporate environment (with an emphasis on conference experiences)Cvent experience is mandatoryPharmaceutical industry experience is highly preferredKnowledge and experience working with healthcare professionalsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks with minimal supervisionHighly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptableCapability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlinesTravel required 10-15%Education:
