Position Overview

We are seeking a committed and courageous leader with robust mental health clinical expertise to oversee and guide a team of 2-4 therapists in the execution of Multisystemic Therapy (MST).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, training, and support to MST teams through regular group supervision and individualized guidance as necessary, ensuring adherence to MST principles and effective intervention implementation.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment where therapists can learn collectively and share responsibilities, including on-call duties and community resource education.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and internal organizational partners.
  • Advocate for the MST program within the community to generate referrals.
  • Oversee the management of program referrals and clinician caseloads.
  • Engage in strategic planning and problem-solving with MST experts to enhance program quality and achieve optimal outcomes for families.
  • Collaborate with MST experts and organizational leadership to promote supervisory and clinical development.
  • Monitor and report on clinical outcomes and program practices.
  • Deliver MST treatment to a limited caseload of families as needed.
  • Ensure all services are provided in a person-centered, trauma-informed manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or a related field is required. Professional licensure as an LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under clinical supervision is mandatory; full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is preferred. Bilingual candidates (English-Spanish) are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, including responsibilities for hiring, performance evaluation, and mentorship.
  • Substantial clinical experience addressing serious antisocial behavior in youth.
  • Experience implementing interventions within various systems affecting youth behavior (family, peer, school, neighborhood).
  • Collaboration with external agencies.
  • Practical experience with family therapies.
  • Individual therapy experience with adolescents and adults utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques.
  • Marital therapy experience using behaviorally based methods.
  • Behavioral therapy targeting academic performance and school behavior.
  • Provision of clinical supervision for groups and individuals.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers.
