About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Program Therapist to join our team at WellBridge Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development and Delivery: Coordinate, develop, and deliver curriculum to meet the psychological needs of patients, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive treatment environment.
  • Treatment Planning and Coordination: Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team planning process, encouraging patient and family involvement, and providing input on patient progress.
  • Clinical Services: Perform clinical services aimed at stabilizing psychiatric crises and promoting healthy mental health management through a biopsychosocial model of treatment.
  • Group Therapy and Education: Co-facilitate group psychotherapy and facilitate psychoeducational focus groups, serving as a role model for patients to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document patient care and information in an accurate, legible, manner, utilizing correct grammar and spelling, and reflecting patient behavior, thoughts, feelings, and responses to milieu and the treatment plan directed interventions.
  • Professional Conduct and Communication: Interact with others in a nonjudgmental, assertive, and respectful manner, demonstrating a professional, caring attitude and behavior towards others, and adhering to program philosophy, rules, and regulations.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Offer brief individual, group, and family therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and provide information and referrals as needed in collaboration with the case management department.
  • Treatment Planning and Evaluation: Review charts in preparation of patient treatment planning, provide input on patient progress, and evaluate and update treatment interventions in collaboration with the charge nurse and/or Program Director.
  • Knowledge of Growth and Development: Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the patient, including child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric stages.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Serve on weekend assessments, group therapy rotation, and clinical-on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education and Licensure: Minimum Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling, and Independent Practice Scope Licensure in the State of Practice.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the discipline.
