Job Title: Commercial Construction Project Manager

HITT Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of construction projects to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain adherence to HITT's safety standards and ensure required documentation is filed.
  • Create and manage project budgets for assigned projects.
  • Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
  • Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and formulate monthly owner reports.
  • Establish job processes, including RFIs, submittals, and pay applications, and approve pay applications and negotiate subcontract change orders.
  • Perform project scheduling, ensure project quality control, and establish overall project logistics.
  • Manage the closeout process efficiently.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how HITT Contracting can meet those needs.
  • Supervise assistant operations support roles, such as assistant project managers, administrative assistants, MEP managers, and safety team members.
  • Collaborate with project superintendents and site operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
  • 5+ years' experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
  • Mastery of reading construction drawings, including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings.
  • Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time, to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
  • Knowledge of current market conditions, including pricing conventions and trends.

In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, section RCW, the base salary range for this position is:

$100,000.00-$140,000.00

Compensation in other cities and states may vary. HITT Contracting offers a competitive total benefits and compensation package, including performance-based bonuses, premium health care coverage, employer-matched 401(k), wellness reimbursement program, paid holidays and time-off, and other voluntary benefits and leave types. The determination of salary is based on the candidate's individual professional experience, qualifications, education, skills, and training.
