Job Summary

In this highly rewarding role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Belimo's retrofit sales in your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on engaging property owners and institutional customers. About the Role

As a Retrofit Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating incremental demand for Belimo products through personal sales activities with targeted end users and facility management decision makers. Your goal will be to provide energy-saving and technical solutions within the scope of the Belimo Retrofit+ program. You will work closely with our District Sales Manager, Regional Distribution Business Manager, and Regional Sales Manager to identify target accounts and develop retrofit growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage an overall Business Development Plan (BDP) that focuses on building a tangible pipeline of sales opportunities to support the long-term sales objective of the Retrofit+ initiative.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the retrofit market.
* Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the retrofit industry to drive the sale of Belimo Retrofit+ products into existing buildings.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales growth targets.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of experience in technical sales (HVAC preferred) and 3+ years in business development, strategic planning.
* Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational, inter-personal, and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and other basic computer skills.

What We Offer

* A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
* A target performance bonus of 25% of an employee's annual base salary.
