Key Responsibilities:
- Accountability: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration among our staff.
- Communication: You will ensure effective communication with our team members, Area Managers, and guests, providing clear and concise information and updates as needed.
- Training and Development: You will be responsible for managing the onboarding and training process, selecting the best trainers for new hires and developing future leaders.
- Operations: You will lead and manage a team of 15-25 employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in both the front and back of house, including baking, frosting, utility, crafting, and guest service departments.
- Guest Service: You will ensure superior guest experience by minimizing wait times and delivering excellent service, representing the bakery professionally and handling guest interactions with a positive attitude.
- Financial Performance: You will manage the profitability of the bakery, hitting COGS and labor percentage goals while minimizing waste.
- Marketing and Events: You will spearhead marketing efforts and coordinate events, being aware of all promotions and offers.
- Reporting: You will complete all required reports and trackers accurately, including schedules, sales reports, labor reports, etc.
- Independence: You will manage the bakery independently without needing assistance for shift coverage, developing solutions for bakery problems autonomously.
- Holiday/Event Execution: You will manage high-volume days effectively, staying calm under pressure and ensuring adequate inventory and staffing during peak times.
- Flexibility: You will be open to working any day/time the bakery may be short-staffed, assisting at other locations or traveling for training/meetings as needed.
- Team Management: You will coach the team effectively and lead by example, making decisions about team fit and parting ways with team members when necessary.
- Genuine Connections: You will connect with the team and ensure they are receptive to your leadership, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
