Moving Center Operations Manager

Job Summary:
U-Haul is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our moving and storage center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the fleet to ensure clean and well-maintained equipment is always available to customers.
• Perform profit/loss analyses to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Hire and mentor new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
• Track and itemize inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Manage the personnel budget to ensure effective use of resources and maximize profitability.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of care and service, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
• Maintain a clean and secure environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Computer expertise, including proficiency in software applications and systems.
• Organizational expertise, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
