The Role:

As a National Account Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the National Accounts-Albertson's team. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance performance at designated national accounts through strategic planning and effective selling. You will be accountable for profitably managing business outcomes (volume, share, profit) for assigned national accounts while fostering value-driven relationships with retailers through category management, responsive problem-solving, and proactive relationship management.

This position reports to the Sales Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective execution of customer plans across various regions through strong communication, coordination, and leadership.
  • Build robust relationships with retailers and provide strategic insights on industry and category dynamics.
  • Develop and present customer plans that surpass volume and profit targets.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis, segmentation, and development of target account lists while implementing strategies within assigned national accounts.
  • Engage in regular market activities to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and identify opportunities that position us as the preferred choice for our customers and consumers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years) in progressive sales and key account management within the consumer or direct store delivery sectors.
  • A passion for challenges, with the ability to complete complex projects efficiently while understanding business priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to achieving desired outcomes.

Salary Range: (US/California) $115,800 - $166,400
